Al Gore rallies allies as global warming faces strong skepticism For a while it seemed like the public cared about global warming and wanted to reduce what humans are doing to unbalance the worldwide ecosystem. Now that’s not a certain thing and Al Gore is fighting to reverse the trend. Most of that shift in public opinion is due to some unethical behavior by people close to global warming data which created a breach of trust.

Add some powerful interests to the mix like businesses who don’t want to see new legislation interfere with their current operating practices, or politicians who stand to gain from related lobbyists and we have a magnifying glass on the underbelly of Al Gore’s global warming campaign. But where did it begin?

There are other examples, but two recent events are attracting attention right now. The first is a series of leaked e-mails from a British university which showed top scientists discussing how to skirt “public information laws” according to the Chicago Tribune. After that a United Nations panel made bold claims that glaciers in the Himalaya would disappear by 2035 without any scientific evidence. Those two slips gave skeptics plenty to talk about and highlight through various social channels.

Al Gore is no stranger to tough competition though, and likely with his influence two climate change evangelist groups are merging in order to strengthen their voice and lengthen their reach. Alliance for Climate Protection and the Climate Project will merge, and according to representatives speaking to USA Today, they will become “one of the largest non-profit educational and advocacy organizations in the world.”

Those groups are in for a significant challenge. They’ll need to discover a way of appealing to people’s innate desire to preserve the Earth without sounding alarmist or like the boy who cried wolf. The best approach for that? As much solid data as possible.

The debate is over, there is no "Global Warming" © Al Goof. The scam has been exposed and the business scheme is worthless now. But it's good when Al Scourge continues fighting, since he makes such a laughable clown. I'd like to see more from him, until the show is over.

What debate?  There never has been a debate except through the one sided media.  This is the most rediculous fiction story ever placed before the deer eyed public.  Until a real debate between credentialed meteorologists and scientists from both sides will and should the public buy into this propoganda.  The biggest influence on our little planet earth is still ol sol which dictates how much heat we will be getting through sun spots and other effects of our only heat source.  Has there been any data showing temperature changes on any other planets?  Duh!

THE MORE I HEAR ALOGRE AND THE SIENCTISTS , THE MORE I GET CONFUSED ,, GOLABAL WARMING SEEMS TO BE THE MOST CONFUSING DEABTES OF OUR TMES

WELLL ITS INTERESTING THAT ALGORE IS LOSING THE PLOT FOR HIS CLIMATE CHANGE CAMPAIGNS.. DOES HE CONSULT THE SCIENTISTS OR HE IS USING HIS GUTT FEELINGS.

WE NEEED TO ASK HIM SOME HARD QUESTIONS

First and foremost understanding his background on the whole carbon credits thing get's under my skin. He profits from all this so of course he will deliver the doom and gloom message to those who will listen. And the whole cazp and trade idea just really rubs me raw. Come on folks, it is real simple whether or not you believe in Climate Change or not the simple fact is we release large amounts of waste into our air. So yes let's work on cleaning that up but no by taking money from corporations and handing to other countries or even to Al Gore whose house uses more electrcity in a day than mine in a year simply becuase he seems to feel entitled (sorry don't have a link to the piece done a few years back on this). Simply put put in simple legislation to bring those levels down while looking for alternative methods but be sure the alternative doesn't have a bigger price, I mean look at compact flourescents, great idea but people have to understand they must be recycled or you are putting mercury into our environment at landfills.  Let's be realistic, reduce pollution is always a win but the correlation to mans pollution and nature on this have not been proven. Oh and to compare the US to China on the path of where we are is the dumbest thing to do since they are in essence building their network based on our understandings, one day someone else will be further along than china and it will take time to get our system all moving along, sorry no culture has been built in a single day and rebuilding always generally takes longer, you cannot force it.
